About the role#
This co-op position supports the Vet Engineering team in Naples, Florida. You will assist engineers with the development, improvement, and maintenance of products for the veterinary orthopedic market. The role focuses on the initial project stages of new product development.
What you'll do#
- Support the design concept development of veterinary trauma implants and instruments.
- Participate in prototype evaluations, including drylab and wetlab sessions.
- Document concept development and test results.
- Assist in the creation of design history file documentation, such as the Design Traceability Matrix.
- Support the creation of drawings, models, and change requests.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student pursuing a degree in engineering, veterinary, or a related field.
- Junior standing or above is preferred, though recent graduates within six months of their graduation date may qualify.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
- A background or interest in veterinary medicine or engineering.

- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
