About the role#
Arcadis is looking for a Co-op Project Assistant to join the Civil and Utilities team. You will support infrastructure and utility coordination projects by assisting with project planning, documentation, and data analysis. This role works closely with project managers, engineers, and various stakeholders to help deliver infrastructure work.
What you'll do#
- Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D to prepare and update engineering drawings, site plans, and utility layouts.
- Assist in creating and modifying grading plans, profiles, alignments, and cross-sections.
- Compile and update utility information from design teams, consultants, and utility providers.
- Track coordination efforts with municipal partners and utility companies.
- Organize digital drawing files and maintain accurate project records.
- Provide logistical support for meetings, workshops, and field activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery and administrative tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program for Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organizational habits.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.

- Compensation: $20 to $32 per hour.
