About the role#
This is a student worker position focused on food service and catering operations. You will work on campus, supporting our food service teams. This role is open to students across various fields of study, including Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Nursing, Health Administration, and Nutrition.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and build food items by following standardized recipes and directions.
- Store food properly to meet safety standards.
- Set up, break down, clean, and sanitize workstations like prep tables and service counters.
- Serve food to customers and ensure their needs are met.
- Replenish food items and keep products stocked at appropriate levels.
- Follow safety policies and ensure the security of company assets.
What you'll need#
- Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to obtain or hold a food safety certification.
- Strong guest service skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to handle physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing or walking.
- Willingness to wear a uniform or Personal Protective Equipment if required.
