About the role#
This student worker position supports food service and catering operations on campus. It provides an opportunity to develop customer service and operational skills while working within a team environment. This is a paid, on-site role with a rolling application window.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and assemble food items following standardized recipes and directions.
- Store food products properly according to established standards.
- Serve food to customers while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating needs.
- Set up, maintain, and replenish workstations, including prep tables and service counters.
- Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment.
- Follow all safety policies, including food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Ensure the security of company assets.
What you'll need#
- Demonstrated guest service skills.
- Ability to obtain or possess a food safety certification.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- Ability to meet physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing or walking.
- Willingness to wear required uniforms or personal protective equipment.

- Location: Cleveland, Ohio.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $11.00 per hour.
- Eligibility: Open to students in majors including Civil Engineering, Business Administration, and Health Administration.
