About the role#
This position is for a student worker at the Chick-fil-A location on the University of Southern Mississippi campus. You will work as part of the food service team to prepare meals and serve guests. This role is open to students across various fields of study, including Nutrition, Business Administration, and Civil Engineering.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and build food items following standardized recipes.
- Store food properly to meet safety and sanitation standards.
- Serve customers and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Keep food items stocked and replenish supplies as needed.
- Maintain a positive demeanor and provide excellent customer service.
- Set up, break down, and sanitize workstations.
- Follow safety policies and ensure the security of company assets.
What you'll need#
- Ability to demonstrate guest service skills.
- Must have or acquire a food safety certification.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- Ability to meet physical demands like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing or walking.
- Willingness to wear a uniform or use personal protective equipment as required.
