About the role#
This is a paid, full-time summer internship for the 2026 term at Carolina Dining Services. You will work on-site in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, supporting the daily operations of our dining facilities.
What you'll do#
- Assist with customer service across various dining locations.
- Help the team with food preparation and service tasks.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Support catering events as they arise.
- Engage with guests to help improve their overall dining experience.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current student at UNC.
- You are pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Nutrition, Civil Engineering, or Environmental Engineering.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- You should be comfortable working in busy environments.
- A basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices is necessary.
- Previous customer service experience is helpful but not required.
