About the role#
We are looking for a Logistics Intern to join our Transportation division. This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota. You will work with our team to manage freight and support our internal logistics operations.
What you'll do#
- Reconcile contracted freight payments.
- Handle routine logistics tasks, including reporting, email correspondence, and customer service.
- Identify and resolve service issues using root cause analysis.
- Build and maintain relationships with carrier operations personnel and internal stakeholders.
- Manage carrier information and pricing documents in Excel and our ERP systems.
- Work with internal teams to track performance metrics and prepare presentations for business reviews.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Business Economics, or Agribusiness.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Strong communication, data, and time management skills.
- A self-starter mindset with a willingness to learn new systems.
