About the role#
This is an on-site Student Manager position for Dining Operations at Arizona State University in Phoenix. You will support the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility to meet Aramark and client standards.
What you'll do#
- Clean assigned areas and maintain an orderly environment.
- Follow procedures for trash storage and disposal.
- Secure the facility by locking and unlocking buildings as required.
- Report maintenance issues by submitting work order requests.
- Adhere to safety regulations, including OSHA and Aramark policies.
- Maintain housekeeping equipment.
What you'll need#
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull more than 50 lbs.
- Comfort with physical demands such as bending, extended walking, and standing.
- Ability to follow safety procedures regarding hazardous chemicals.
- Willingness to wear uniforms or use personal protective equipment when required.
- Previous custodial experience is preferred.
- Open to students from majors including Business Administration, Environmental Engineering, Public Health, Sociology, Psychology, and Nursing.
