About the role#
The Marketing Intern supports food service marketing initiatives at Gwynedd Mercy University. This part-time position focuses on increasing student engagement and promoting dining programs through digital content and on-campus events. You will work closely with site leadership, the Marketing Coordinator, and the District Marketing Manager to execute campaigns.
What you'll do#
- Create photo, video, and graphic content for Instagram and other social media channels.
- Host sample tables and promotional events to introduce new menu items and dining experiences.
- Interact with students to build interest in campus dining.
- Track ongoing marketing activities and report on campaign performance.
- Gather student feedback to help improve future marketing efforts.
- Assist with the planning and execution of special events and promotional activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at the university, with the ability to provide a class schedule for verification.
- Active use of social media, especially Instagram.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Interest in marketing, communications, graphic design, or media studies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Gwynedd Valley, Pennsylvania.
- The role is on-site and part-time, approximately 10 hours per week.
- This is a paid internship.
