About the role#
This internship is a full-time position for the Fall 2026 semester. You will work on-site in Santa Clara, California. The role is paid, with an hourly rate between $42 and $54, depending on your education level and experience.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and operate optical metrology for AR display components.
- Assist with the optical characterization of diffractive optical elements.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Master or PhD program in Optical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Good academic standing, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale.
- Practical experience with optical experiments.
- Programming skills in Python or Matlab.
- A solid understanding of physics.
- Ability to learn new tasks quickly.
