About the role#
Applied Materials is seeking an MBA Finance Intern to join the team for the summer of 2027. This position offers the opportunity to work within business segments to provide financial analytics and investment decision support for products and strategic engagements. Interns will participate in an 8 to 10 week program that includes training, social events, and engagement with senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Focus on projects that assist the finance organization in driving executive decision making regarding key business issues.
- Provide financial modeling, ROI analysis, scenario planning, and portfolio prioritization.
- Support finance planning, analysis, reporting, and other finance initiatives.
- Help drive the strategic direction of the group to execute on business unit and corporate priorities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MBA program with an expected graduation date in 2027.
- Preferred 4 to 7 years of prior work experience in Finance or Accounting.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Practical experience using AI and Data Analytics to improve financial processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.
- Ability to work as a proactive self-starter both independently and within teams.
