About the role#
The IT Support Intern assists our department with daily technical operations. You will gain practical experience in an enterprise environment while working alongside experienced IT professionals. This is a paid, full-time position that offers hands-on exposure to infrastructure, asset management, and end-user support.
What you'll do#
- Provide basic support for desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
- Configure, provision, and deploy computers using established organizational procedures.
- Manage IT inventory by organizing and labeling computers, monitors, and printers.
- Update technical documentation and help create standard operating procedures.
- Assist with the organization of network closets, server rooms, and IT workspaces under direct supervision.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree, technical certificate, or comparable training in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a relevant field.
- A basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and common desktop software.
- The ability to follow technical instructions and documented procedures.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to safely handle and move computer equipment and peripherals.

- This role is based on-site in Peabody, Massachusetts.
- The position is a rolling term.
