About the role#
AMETEK is seeking a motivated intern to support the IT department. You will assist the team by addressing level 1 technical requests related to hardware and software while contributing to ongoing projects. You will work alongside an experienced team focused on your integration and training.
What you'll do#
- Provide level 1 IT support to internal users, including hardware, telephony, printers, and enterprise applications.
- Configure and install computers for new employees to ensure a positive onboarding experience.
- Document all interventions using the internal ticketing system.
- Interact professionally with colleagues to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Participate in various IT projects based on your interests and learning goals.
- Contribute to the maintenance and upgrading of the computer fleet.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a professional (DEP) or college (AEC/DEC) program in IT support, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Graphic Design, or Business Administration.
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently when researching solutions.
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
- A strong interest in customer support.
