About the role#
AMETEK is seeking a motivated intern to support the IT department. You will assist the team by addressing level 1 technical requests for hardware and software, while participating in ongoing projects. You will work alongside an experienced team focused on your professional integration and training.
What you'll do#
- Provide level 1 IT support to internal users regarding hardware, telephony, printers, and enterprise applications.
- Configure and install computers for new employees to ensure a positive onboarding experience.
- Document technical interventions using the internal ticketing system.
- Interact professionally with colleagues to ensure high levels of service satisfaction.
- Participate in various IT projects based on your interests and learning goals.
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the computer fleet.
What you'll need#
- Current student in a professional (DEP) or college (AEC/DEC) program in IT support.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both French and English.
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
- Autonomy when researching and implementing technical solutions.
- A genuine interest in customer support.
