About the role#
We are looking for an AI Automation Intern to help implement AI best practices within our engineering teams. This role focuses on practical, scalable solutions to improve magnetics design and firmware calibration. You will work on-site to build tools that reduce manual engineering tasks and improve overall process efficiency.
What you'll do#
- Lead end-to-end projects to implement AI best practices.
- Create an AI-enabled magnetics design automation tool using machine learning models.
- Automate firmware configuration and calibration processes to replace manual updates.
- Translate product requirements into firmware change rules by working closely with our engineering team.
- Validate generated firmware changes through build checks and test cases.
- Document automation processes and develop new datasheet standards.
- Present project outcomes and recommendations to technical and business leaders.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Coursework or hands-on experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, or automation.
- Experience with C programming for embedded or firmware applications.
- Familiarity with TI IDE tools and TI chipsets.
- Prior experience using AI productivity tools like Copilot or ChatGPT.

- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role is based on-site in Orange, California.
