About the role#
The Portfolio Operations Intern will support strategic and operational initiatives within the Practice Management Solutions team. You will work directly with portfolio leadership to gain exposure to healthcare consulting, project delivery, and business transformation. This role involves contributing to client engagements and internal business priorities while applying your academic background to real-world projects.
What you'll do#
- Support strategic projects across consulting, managed services, onboarding, and project management.
- Analyze data to develop insights, reports, and recommendations for leadership.
- Create project deliverables, process documentation, and executive-ready presentations.
- Assist with project coordination, meeting facilitation, and tracking action items.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and program activities.
- Present your project outcomes and key learnings at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Supply Chain Management.
- Preference for rising sophomores, juniors, or seniors.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Demonstrated leadership through academic, volunteer, or work experiences.
- Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States.
