About the role#
This summer internship provides experience within the Central IT department. You will work on real projects, gain leadership exposure, and build professional connections. This is a paid, full-time role based in League City, Texas, running from May 24, 2027, to August 6, 2027, with an optional extension to August 13.
What you'll do#
- Support identity and access management initiatives to help employees securely access business applications.
- Document application processes and support authentication configurations.
- Test solutions and improve operational workflows.
- Build practical knowledge of single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, and enterprise cybersecurity technologies.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university with junior standing or higher.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Understanding of SAML 2, OAuth 2, OIDC, and WS-Federation.
- Familiarity with LDAP, Active Directory, and Azure AD.
- Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and token-based authentication.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with sound problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Location & details#
- Location: League City, Texas (On-site).
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
