About the role#
The Actuarial Intern role is a 12-week summer program designed to provide real-world experience within the insurance industry. You will contribute to departmental projects, participate in professional development sessions, and engage with leadership to build your professional network.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate risk and set appropriate pricing for insurance products.
- Analyze trends and patterns to support business decisions.
- Use predictive models to forecast future risks and trends.
- Contribute to departmental projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Participate in professional development and leadership exposure sessions.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an accredited institution with Junior standing or higher.
- Pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel, Access, and Word.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.

- Location: League City, Texas.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
