About the role#
American Fidelity is hiring a Software Dev Intern for a paid, full-time position starting in January 2027. This role is based on-site in Oklahoma City. We are looking for students who can commit to an internship lasting between 6 and 12 months.
What you'll do#
- Support the technical functions of your assigned department through tasks like software programming, testing, and data analysis.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
- Handle system administration and documentation.
- Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to share your findings or recommendations with the team.
- Collaborate with your manager, department colleagues, and fellow interns.
What you'll need#
- You must be graduating in May 2027 or later.
- You have completed a software development course and have a solid understanding of software development principles.
- You are proficient with the MS Productivity Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- You can analyze and document business and technical processes.
- You possess strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- You have a working knowledge of PC hardware and software.
