IT Operations Intern

About the role#

The IT Operations Intern supports the technical functions of the department through a variety of tasks ranging from software development to data analysis. This role requires a commitment of 15-20 hours per week during business hours for a duration of six months to a year. Candidates must be graduating in May 2027 or later.

What you'll do#

• Perform software programming and testing.
• Conduct data analysis, data scrubbing, and predictive modeling.
• Document business and technical processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
• Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to groups of varying sizes.
• Collaborate with managers, department members, and other interns.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a degree program, preferably in Computer Science, Data Science, or Business Administration.
• Strong experience with the MS Productivity Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to analyze and document both business and technical processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of PC hardware and software.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies.
• Strong collaboration, teamwork, and work ethic.
