About the role#
Arbella Insurance Group is seeking an undergraduate student to join the Operations Team for the Fall 2026 semester. This internship is based on-site at our headquarters in Quincy, Massachusetts. You will work at least 15 hours per week, with a schedule that remains flexible to accommodate your classes. A dedicated mentor will guide your progress throughout the program. Depending on your performance and business needs, there may be opportunities for full-time employment after the internship concludes.
What you'll do#
Your daily tasks will vary by department but focus on supporting core insurance operations. You will handle mailing, work distribution, data entry, and answer general customer inquiries. You will also participate in job shadowing to learn about different areas of our operations. Specific responsibilities include:
- Processing policy, claim, and billing transactions with accuracy and speed.
- Providing customer service to both internal staff and external customers.
- Managing your assigned workload to ensure tasks are completed on time.
What you'll need#
We are open to students from all college majors, including Business Administration, Operations Management, Economics, Communications, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, and Logistics. You should be a quick learner with a solid technical aptitude and basic computer skills. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage your time effectively. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
