Claim Intern - 2026 Fall Semester

About the role#

Arbella Insurance Group is seeking an undergraduate student for a Claim Intern position during the Fall 2026 semester. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience by supporting Claim Professionals at the company headquarters. Interns are paired with a dedicated mentor to guide their professional development throughout the term.

What you'll do#

• Process loss and expense payments within granted settlement authority for all lines of business.
• Perform skilled data entry across multiple claim and related database systems.
• Request police reports, investigative materials, and necessary correspondence as directed.
• Provide administrative support to Claim Professionals, including printing, filing, and copying documents.

What you'll need#

• Current undergraduate student status; open to all majors including Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Communications, and Criminal Justice.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy environment.

Location & details#

• Location: Quincy, Massachusetts.
• Modality: On-site.
• Term: Fall 2026 (starting September 2026).
• Schedule: Minimum of 15 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate class schedules and the potential for additional hours.
• Compensation: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour.
