About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will join a 10-week summer program designed to immerse you in real-world technology projects. You will work within an Agile scrum team to support the development of software applications that impact our customers and colleagues. This role provides an opportunity to learn how products are designed, built, tested, and delivered within a global enterprise environment.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to an Agile scrum team by developing, testing, and improving software applications.
- Write clean, maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and create unit tests.
- Partner with Product Managers, Senior Engineers, Quality Engineers, and Architects to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Explore and experiment with emerging AI-powered developer tools, automation capabilities, and machine learning concepts.
- Build confidence working across different parts of the technology stack, such as APIs and services.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Data Science.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Demonstrated experience using one or more programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, or Go.
- Foundational understanding of computer science concepts including data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, debugging, and problem solving.
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging technologies, including AI and machine learning.
