About the role#
The Corporate Functions Governance & Control team is seeking a summer intern to support a regulatory governance project. This role focuses on strengthening the Reliance Model across Corporate Functions by assessing current processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and developing recommendations to enhance consistency and governance. You will gain exposure to regulatory risk management, stakeholder engagement, and executive reporting.
What you'll do#
- Review the existing Reliance Model to understand current requirements and workflows.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and working sessions to document Corporate Functions sentiments regarding process execution and governance.
- Map the current-state process to identify recurring pain points, gaps, dependencies, and opportunities to improve consistency and usability.
- Develop reusable guidance, FAQs, templates, and communications to support business-unit execution.
- Deliver executive-ready recommendations, including a proposed future-state process and a practical implementation roadmap.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s degree program with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Demonstrated interest in regulatory compliance, governance, operational risk, process improvement, or financial services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Political Science, or Communications.
