About the role#
The Corporate Functions Governance & Control team is looking for a summer intern to support a regulatory governance project. You will focus on strengthening the Reliance Model across various corporate functions. This project involves assessing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and building recommendations to enhance governance and consistency.
What you'll do#
- Review the existing Reliance Model to understand current workflows and requirements.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and working sessions to document feedback on process execution.
- Map the current state of the process to identify pain points, dependencies, and gaps.
- Create reusable guidance, FAQs, templates, and communications to assist with business unit execution.
- Deliver executive-ready recommendations, including a future-state process proposal and an implementation roadmap.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time bachelor’s degree program with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Demonstrated interest in regulatory compliance, governance, operational risk, process improvement, or financial services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work on-site in New York.
