About the role#
This internship program is part of the US Consumer Services division at American Express. Interns will support the development and management of consumer products, marketing strategies, and customer experiences. This is a full-time, paid summer internship for 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist the team in the management of product and marketing strategy.
- Analyze data to identify and propose growth opportunities that improve business performance.
- Develop cost-benefit analyses to evaluate the feasibility of new projects.
- Manage end-to-end marketing or customer-focused initiatives, including developing and implementing tests to measure their effectiveness.
- Identify innovative ways to improve the overall customer experience.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program specializing in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Brand Management, Digital Marketing, Economics, or a related business field.
- An expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
- Ability to conceptualize and present ideas effectively.
- A passion for customer marketing, product management, payments innovation, travel and dining industries, and new technology trends.
- Note: Employment eligibility to work in the United States is required, as visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
