About the role#
The Store Operations Data Analyst Intern supports the Store Operations team by analyzing business data and identifying trends. You will help improve the customer and team member experience across our retail locations. This role provides hands-on experience with operational metrics and reporting tools to drive data-informed decisions.
What you'll do#
- Spend time in retail store locations to observe and execute operational processes firsthand.
- Collect, organize, and analyze store operations data from various reporting systems.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and scorecards to track key business metrics.
- Identify trends and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Support projects focused on labor productivity, customer experience, sales performance, inventory management, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with Store Operations, Finance, Merchandising, and other business teams.
- Validate data to ensure reporting accuracy.
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership and project stakeholders.
- Document processes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis functions.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Familiarity with SQL, data modeling, or reporting tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
