About the role#
The Merchandising Buying Intern role provides skills and industry knowledge for those pursuing a career in retail or fashion. You will work directly with the Merchandising team to support daily operations and contribute to the buying process.
What you'll do#
- Assist the team with daily business operations.
- Collect and organize samples for meetings.
- Help with reporting and purchase orders.
- Stay informed on current trends.
- Communicate with the vendor community.
- Participate in the fit selection process.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a junior, senior, or recent graduate.
- Pursuing a degree in Merchandising, Business, or a related field.
- Strong academic record.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
- A strong fashion sense and interest in products.
- Ability to work at least 20-25 hours per week with open availability.
- Self-motivated and positive approach to work.
