About the role#
The Vow'd Merchandising Internship is an opportunity to learn about the bridal and fashion industry. You will support the buying team with daily operations, product selection, and data analysis. This role is designed for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience with trend forecasting and the business side of retail.
What you'll do#
- Assist in developing assortment plans and selecting product.
- Help the buying team with store allocation and distribution processes.
- Manage the sample collection and gather samples for meetings.
- Work with vendors to ensure they meet sample deadlines.
- Coordinate between Marketing and Ecommerce for product style-outs and photoshoots.
- Monitor trends and the competitive environment.
- Support the team with purchase order creation and updates.
What you'll need#
- You are an upcoming junior, senior, or recent graduate with a strong academic record.
- You are pursuing a degree in Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- You have a strong fashion sense and a clear passion for product.
- You are comfortable using Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
- You possess strong organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- You have effective written and verbal communication skills.
- You can build collaborative partnerships across different teams.
- You are self-motivated and maintain a positive attitude.
