About the role#
The Ecommerce Product Owner Intern will gain hands-on experience in digital product management. You will work with our Ecommerce and IT teams to enhance our online shopping experience. This role focuses on turning customer needs and business goals into online features. You will contribute to defining requirements, testing new site functionality, and analyzing performance data. This is a unique opportunity to work on ecommerce initiatives during our SAP implementation.
What you'll do#
- Assist in gathering and refining ecommerce feature requirements from cross-functional teams.
- Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and development tickets in Jira.
- Support backlog management, user story creation, and prioritization.
- Help test new site functionality, identify defects, and track resolution.
- Analyze site performance data and customer feedback to recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with design, development, marketing, and operations teams to ensure features align with business objectives.
- Document product changes, workflows, and testing results.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
- Stay current on ecommerce trends and competitor experiences to bring fresh ideas.
What you'll need#
- Recent graduate or currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Ecommerce, Marketing, or a related field.
- Interest in ecommerce, product management, or digital retail.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Comfort with tools such as Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, or other analytics platforms.
- Analytical mindset with a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
- Previous retail or ecommerce experience is a plus.
