About the role#
As a Projects Engineering Co-op Student, you will work with experienced engineers and project professionals to support the planning, design, execution, and delivery of capital projects. You will gain exposure to project development, stakeholder collaboration, and technical problem-solving. This role involves opportunities to travel to operational facilities and project sites to support field activities and learn how engineering projects are delivered.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering and project teams with the planning, development, and execution of capital projects.
- Assist with technical reviews, project documentation, engineering deliverables, and project coordination.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to cost, schedule, risk, and project performance monitoring.
- Support project design, construction, commissioning, and start-up activities.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance engineering and project execution processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Engineering co-op program pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Process, or a related discipline.
- Availability to complete a 16-month co-op work term beginning in January 2027.
- Willingness and ability to travel to project and operational sites as required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- A positive attitude, strong initiative, and the confidence to take ownership of challenging assignments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a project environment.

- Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
- Term: 16 months, beginning January 2027.
- Employment Type: Full-time, on-site.
