About the role#
As a Tax Intern at Allegion, you will contribute to the finance team through hands-on experience in U.S. state income tax compliance. This role offers exposure to corporate tax projects, one-on-one access to finance leaders, and the opportunity to work in a casual environment. You will gain experience with tax technology and contribute to meaningful finance projects throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Partner with the U.S. state income tax team to prepare state income tax returns for various corporate and partnership entities.
- Research state statutes to support tax return filing positions.
- Assist with additional tax projects as needed.
- Contribute to finance team goals and build a foundation for future opportunities in tax or finance.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant discipline.
- Effective listening, time management, and creative problem-solving skills.
- An inquisitive nature with the aptitude to ask questions and apply outcomes to new situations.
- Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The position is located on-site in Carmel, Indiana.
