About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in Carmel, Indiana. You will work with the corporate Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team to support compliance, project objectives, and departmental goals. This role involves working under the supervision of experienced staff and relies on established guidelines and engineering knowledge to perform daily tasks.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the development of programs for uniformity and compliance.
- Assist facilities with the implementation of EHS-related ISO standards.
- Conduct EHS audits alongside peers and management.
- Lead small, assigned projects to support team goals.
- Participate in the EHS program implementation process.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Environmental Engineering, EHS Management, or an equivalent field.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and plan work independently.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a self-motivated approach to problem-solving.
- Effective oral and written communication skills and a collaborative team mindset.
