About the role#
This internship takes place at the Aluminerie de Bécancour during the Winter 2027 session. You will work under the supervision of planners across various sectors to support maintenance and work management processes. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site.
What you'll do#
- Participate in weekly maintenance planning meetings.
- Work with production teams, technicians, and supervisors to plan work requests, focusing on equipment availability, resource allocation, and parts.
- Manage specific tasks related to the work management process.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering program.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Leadership skills and the ability to mobilize teams.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Autonomy in your daily work.
Location & details#
- Location: Bécancour, Quebec.
- Term: January 4 to April 30, 2027.
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, day shift.
- Compensation: 28$ to 32$ per hour.
- Additional support: Housing stipend eligibility, provided personal protective equipment, and access to on-site medical services and cafeteria.
