About the role#
As a technical intern within the carbon department, you will support our technical team across three distinct sub-sectors. You will be integrated into the team, working on projects that directly impact our industrial operations. This is a full-time, paid position for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Build and implement performance indicators (KPIs) using Power BI, Smart, PI DataLink, and other data analysis tools.
- Design and develop digital forms to streamline data collection and entry.
- Create software tools to support plant operations and improve operator efficiency.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously while collaborating with team members.
What you'll need#
- Current student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- Proficiency in SQL, Power Apps, and Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Leadership and mobilization skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Forms, Power Automate, DoForms, and the PI system is an asset.
Location & details#
- Location: Bécancour, Quebec.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 4 to April 30, 2027).
- Modality: On-site, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Compensation: $28 to $32 per hour.
