About the role#
As an engineering intern at the Centre d'excellence, you will join our team for the winter 2027 term. You will work on research and process optimization projects, gaining experience in an industrial setting. You will be fully integrated into our team and will collaborate with colleagues on data analysis and experimental planning.
What you'll do#
- Help develop and carry out experimental plans.
- Collect samples and take measurements.
- Perform statistical studies and analyze results.
- Create tools using the PI data historian to track trials.
- Suggest process improvements.
- Support the team with health and safety compliance.
- Handle other tasks as they arise.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 3rd or 4th year engineering program.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly.
- Strong organizational skills, initiative, and autonomy.
- Knowledge of PI data historian applications is an asset.
Location & details#
- Location: Deschambault, Quebec.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, day shift.
- Compensation: Paid position with a salary range of $29 to $33 per hour depending on your year of study.
- Benefits: Includes access to a cafeteria, medical services, and provided personal protective equipment. You may be eligible for a $600 housing allowance if you live outside the region and a potential $4,000 scholarship following the internship.
