About the role#
Albright College is hiring Admission Student Ambassadors to represent the college to prospective students. This role is a leadership opportunity for students who want to share their personal experiences and help guide potential candidates through the college discovery process. Ambassadors work in a variety of settings, ranging from daily office tasks to large-scale campus events.
What you'll do#
- Lead hour-long individual or group tours of the campus.
- Connect with prospective students through phone-a-thons and postcards.
- Support mandatory events like Open Houses and Accepted Students Day.
- Represent the college on Admission social media channels.
- Participate in student panels to answer questions from visitors.
- Handle office tasks including data entry, mail delivery, inventory, and paper shredding.
- Maintain general office organization and upkeep.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an Albright College student (freshman through senior).
- You must not be a second-semester senior.
- Good academic and social standing at the college.
- Knowledge of the Albright academic structure, departments, and the application process.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A reliable, organized, and positive approach to teamwork.
- Demonstrated leadership and initiative.
- Ability to commit to at least three hours of work per week.
