    About the role#

    Albright College is hiring a Student Costume Technician to work in the costume shop. This is a paid, on-site role with a rolling term. You will gain hands-on experience in the technical aspects of theatrical costume production.

    What you'll do#

    • Create costumes through patternmaking, draping, and sewing.
    • Organize and maintain the costume shop and storage areas.
    • Perform maintenance on sewing machines and shop supplies.
    • Serve as wardrobe crew during productions.
    • Handle wardrobe tasks such as laundry and garment repairs.

    What you'll need#

    • You must be a Costume Design major.
    • You need the ability to perform basic sewing tasks.
    • While experience in patternmaking, draping, and corsetry is not required, you will learn these skills on the job.
