About the role#
As a Pharmacy Student Intern at Albertsons Companies, you will gain practical experience in a retail pharmacy setting. You will work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist or preceptor to provide care and support to our patients and customers.
What you'll do#
- Perform all pharmacy duties under the guidance of a registered pharmacist or preceptor.
- Manage the prescription filling process while following all laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Consult with customers and health care professionals regarding drug therapy, prescription knowledge, and health products.
- Participate in clinical services, including immunizations, vaccinations, point of care testing, and disease state management.
- Implement company initiatives to support pharmacy operations and profitability.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy.
- A valid state intern license if required by the state of employment.
- Ability to adapt to changes in work priorities and schedules based on business needs.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to cooperate with others.

- Location: Dallas, Texas.
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site position.
