Software Engineer Intern - Python

About the role#

As a Software Engineer Intern focusing on Python, you will join the Post Trade Technology or Data Engineering teams for a 10-week program. You will work alongside software engineers and traders to design and implement solutions for high-performance systems that process large volumes of trading and market data. This role requires taking full ownership of individual projects, with the opportunity to present your work and accomplishments at the end of the program.

What you'll do#

• Design and implement solutions to complex technical problems.
• Collaborate with trading teams to obtain requirements and implement clean, testable code.
• Work on high-performance systems that process and analyze trading data.
• Take full ownership of an individual project throughout the 10-week term.
• Present your work and accomplishments at the conclusion of the internship.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field.
• Graduation date no later than August 2028.
• Major GPA of 3.5 or above.
• Strong programming skills in Object-Oriented Python Development.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
