About the role#
InfiniteQuant is hiring interns for the Summer 2027 term. This role focuses on high-frequency trading systems and infrastructure. You will work within a proprietary trading environment to build and maintain the tools that power our global market strategies.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the infrastructure team to design and maintain high-frequency trading systems.
- Work alongside quants and traders to turn prototypes into optimized code.
- Build and improve data pipelines, simulators, and monitoring software.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
- Familiarity with the logic behind matching engines, simulators, and backtesters is helpful.
- Experience at a trading firm, hedge fund, exchange, or global bank is a plus.
- An understanding of the roles of both Quant Researchers and Software Development Engineers.
