About the role#
InfiniteQuant is hiring a Quantitative Developer for a summer internship in 2027. This role focuses on the design and maintenance of high-frequency trading systems. You will work within a team to build infrastructure and implement code for trading strategies. This is a full-time, paid position with visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the infrastructure team to build and maintain high-frequency trading systems.
- Work alongside quants and traders to turn ideas and prototypes into optimized code.
- Build and improve data pipelines, simulators, and monitoring software.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Python.
- Understanding of the mindsets of Quant Researchers and Software Development Engineers is a plus.
- Familiarity with matching engine logic, simulators, or backtesters is a plus.
- Experience working at trading firms, hedge funds, exchanges, or global banks is a plus.
