About the role#
InfiniteQuant is hiring interns for the Summer 2027 term. This role focuses on high-frequency statistical arbitrage and market-making strategies. You will have the opportunity to rotate through different tracks, including high-frequency trading and prediction market trading, to gain experience across our firm.
What you'll do#
- Analyze order book and market trade data to create high-frequency signals.
- Build alpha signals for latency-sensitive and capacity-constrained strategies.
- Engage in sports and prediction market trading using quantitative pricing and liquidity management.
- Monitor, track, and analyze sports prediction markets, including price movements and market sentiment.
- Provide insights for predicting sports outcomes.
What you'll need#
- You are pursuing or hold a Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Finance, Economics, or Data Science.
- Proficiency in data-driven research and advanced statistics.
- Strong Python skills, specifically with NumPy and pandas.
- Proficiency in C++.
- Experience at leading HFT prop shops, trading firms, or hedge funds.
