About the role#
InfiniteQuant is seeking interns for our Summer 2027 program. You will join our team to work on high-frequency trading systems and contribute to our proprietary technology stack. This role offers the opportunity to rotate through different tracks to gain experience in quantitative research and development.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the infrastructure team to design, build, and maintain high-frequency trading systems.
- Work directly with quants and traders to turn prototypes and ideas into optimized code.
- Build and improve data pipelines, simulators, and monitoring software.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of or completion of a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Python.
- Understanding of matching engines and simulator or backtester logic is a plus.
- Experience with hedge funds, trading firms, global banks, or exchanges is a plus.
- Familiarity with the combined mindset of a Quant Researcher and a Software Development Engineer is a plus.
