About the role#
AKRF is hiring a Water Resources Intern for our Summer 2027 program in Philadelphia. You will work within our Water Resources department to support green stormwater management, climate resiliency, and project design.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the planning, design, and development of water resources projects.
- Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and construction documents for GSI projects.
- Conduct site assessments and field data collection.
- Perform stormwater BMP inspections.
- Support the permitting process by preparing reports and required documentation.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited STEM bachelor or graduate degree program.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Dependability and a willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks.
- Initiative to take on new projects.
