About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship based in Omaha, Nebraska. You will work on-site to gain hands-on experience in fire protection system design.
What you'll do#
- Design automatic sprinkler systems using AutoSPRINK and AutoCAD.
- Create fire protection systems that follow applicable codes and contract scopes.
- Prepare stock lists in the company format.
- Verify that all design details match project requirements.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor degree in a field like Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- Prior experience using AutoCAD.
- Strong math and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with the construction industry.
