About the role#
As a Student Business Development Team Lead, you represent Starlink on behalf of Mosaic. This is a field-based role where you own an assigned territory near your campus. You will focus on sales, lead generation, and community outreach while supporting local recruiting, scheduling, and team coordination efforts. You will receive paid training and ongoing coaching from field sales leaders.
What you'll do#
- Manage an assigned territory and perform door-to-door outreach to build awareness for Starlink services.
- Start conversations with residents about connectivity options and help interested customers get started.
- Build momentum through local events, community connections, and referrals.
- Support local recruiting, scheduling, and team coordination for the program.
- Log your daily activity, sales, hours, and mileage in the field app.
- Participate in regular check-ins with your Regional Sales Manager to review performance and refine your approach.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in school, pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
- Availability to work 15 to 25 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends.
- A reliable personal vehicle, a valid driver's license, and a smartphone.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- A self-motivated and dependable approach to managing your time and territory.

- Location: Sacramento, California.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: Hourly base pay plus commission for qualified activations and referral bonuses.
- Additional support: Paid training, mileage reimbursement, and a monthly cell phone stipend are provided.
