About the role#
This Co-Op position offers practical experience through project work in the automation machinery manufacturing industry. You will report to the Technical & Design Promotion Manager and support various team operations. This role is available for the Winter and Summer 2027 terms.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate with teams to ensure projects finish on time.
- Identify client solutions by matching customer needs with ABB offerings.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and team meetings.
- Seek regular feedback from your manager and peers to build your skills.
- Manage multiple tasks while maintaining high quality standards.
- Communicate ideas and provide project status updates to your team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration/Marketing.
- Ability to use critical thinking to solve complex problems.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Cary, North Carolina, with remote options available.
- If working on-site, you must have reliable transportation.
- This is a full-time, paid position with an hourly rate between $20 and $34, depending on qualifications and experience.
