    About the role#

    The Finance College Co-Op supports the finance team at our automotive manufacturing facility. You will work alongside finance and plant leadership to gain experience in cost analysis, financial reporting, and business operations. This role involves time in both an office environment and on the manufacturing floor.

    What you'll do#

    • Prepare daily manufacturing performance reports covering sales, production, scrap, and inventory.
    • Assist with monthly close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
    • Verify that General Ledger activity matches supporting subledgers.
    • Support financial reporting, variance analysis, and audit documentation.
    • Perform Layered Process Audits throughout the manufacturing facility.
    • Code and submit invoices and investigate account variances.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
    • Sophomore or Junior standing is preferred.
    • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
    • Completed introductory coursework in accounting and finance.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    • Ability to work at least 25 hours per week during the academic year.
