About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to work with senior analysts on energy infrastructure data and analytics. You will gain exposure to live market data and contribute to research used by industry participants and institutional investors. This is a paid, on-site role based in Greenwood Village, Colorado, with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week and a 3-month duration.
What you'll do#
- Analyze commodity volumes, production, prices, contract data, and flow dynamics.
- Prepare monthly reports on regional supply and demand.
- Create data visualizations for complex supply and demand systems.
- Develop price hub forecasts and methodologies.
- Build new products and tools for data analysis and manipulation.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Finance, or Engineering.
- Demonstrated analytical ability through academic projects, research, or prior internships.
- Exposure to SQL or relational databases and Python or similar programming languages.
- Proficiency with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
