The Electrical Engineering College Co-op will support the Corporate Facilities and Energy team at the AAM World Headquarters in Detroit. This position focuses on utility data analysis, electrical system documentation, and energy management initiatives across manufacturing operations. You will work alongside experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience with electrical drawings, power systems, and engineering analysis.
What you'll do#
- Review utility invoices for accuracy and enter data into Excel.
- Review electrical drawings and assist in preparing energy reports and presentations using PowerPoint.
- Support power monitoring setup using PowerLogic software, including device configuration, data logging, alarm management, and dashboard updates.
- Troubleshoot wiring for power monitoring systems.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment in an Electrical Engineering degree program.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Preferred graduation date of May 2028 or later.
- Ability to work a minimum of 25 hours per week, year-round.
- Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
