About the role#
This internship reports to the Category Manager and supports the analytics and reporting activities of the global procurement organization. You will work with the global supply chain community and the strategic finance team. The role provides exposure to quote analysis, project management, and cross-functional team participation.
What you'll do#
- Maintain high standards for conduct and ethics.
- Coordinate monthly reporting for supply chain cost savings.
- Conduct analytics for supply chain projects.
- Assist in developing and managing spend analysis.
- Build an understanding of total cost of ownership.
- Collaborate with global category managers on RFPs and RFQs.
- Assist with supplier screening and the selection process.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- Capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve problems.
- Availability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, during the summer.
